You can’t begin to imagine how excited I am about this blog and all the resources it’ll provide to students seeking a higher education. Not to mention, I’ll be able to show you a little bit more of my personality as an educational influencer and as a student just like you ;).
Scholar World is rooted in helping students win scholarships, but I wanted to expand that! I’ll posting about navigating college, opportunities, making money in college, and so much more. The Scholar Word Blog is the one place you can go to get scholarships, advice, and access to professional opportunities. If you’re wondering how Scholar World started, don’t worry I’m about to dive into that next.
In my junior year of high school I joined a college planning program called the College Planning Cohort (feel free to check them out, I’m a product of CPC). I learned all about college, institutional scholarships, and how to get into college. In the program, I conducted countless hours of research on universities and their scholarship program so that could apply in the fall of my senior year. The College Planning Cohort is the reason why I won over $600,000 in scholarships and what motivated me to start Scholar World. After graduating that program with so much knowledge on how to research opportunities I began research outside scholarships that could win me more money for school. At the time I also wanted to help my peers so I posted the scholarships I found on Instagram. From there, the page continued to grow the more I posted and students began to DM me saying they were a recipient of some of the scholarships I posted. That’s how Scholar World started!
